Fazane Fox

Fazane (the bossy one)…..has over 16 years’ experience working for a high-end clothing manufacturer and running her womenswear label.

Fazane works with you on your project and manages the process from start to finish, with the help of our team of experts. With her extensive experience in producing garments and unique insight into running a fashion label, having her manage your project will be a decision you won’t regret.

She first worked as a Senior Account Manager for High Fashion, a Chinese owned company with offices in the UK, USA, France & Italy. She travelled extensively to China, Hong Kong, America and France and regularly visited their garment factories in China, as well as visiting their fabric, dyeing, spinning and weaving mills.

Fazane left High Fashion in 2012 to concentrate on her womenswear label ‘Fazane Malik’, which was operational until 2016 when she decided to focus solely on the Production Lab.

A year after starting her fashion label, Fazane started The Production Lab after noting a gap in the market to help designers develop their designs into a mass-produced commercial product here in the UK, as well as to help established brands upscale their production offshore.

Fazane has won several awards for both her businesses:

When not working hard at The Production Lab for all our clients, Fazane is a versatile DJ and gigs in and around Nottingham and Derby (early set-times ONLY as she's getting on a bit now!)...you can follow her exploits HERE

Chloe Ryans

Chloe first interned for Fazane when she had her womenswear label and stayed on and off for two years (we just couldn’t get rid of her!).

She has excellent skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, fashion design, trend research, technical specifications and much much more.

Always impressed with her hard-working nature, creative flair and epically loud sneezes…. Fazane promised her a job one day.

On graduation, Chloe worked for several high street suppliers as a designer, including F&F Clothing, Knitmania and Sports Direct.

The day finally came in July 2018 when Fazane was able to keep her promise and Chloe became a very much valued full-time member of our team.

P.S…..she still sneezes a lot.

Cathryn Jordan

Cathryn and Fazane are fellow Derby girls and even went to the same school! (not at the same time though obviously!)

A much-valued member of our team, Cathryn is an accomplished garment technologist with over 30 years of international experience including training and quality management for the likes of big UK suppliers Courtaulds, Crystal Martin and Dimensions.

She is energetic and enthusiastic and thrives under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.

Sinead Inchley

Fazane spied Sinead on LinkedIn and, impressed with her skills, arranged a meeting in Leicester.

After a rather traumatic start for Fazane – losing the diamond out of her engagement ring on the way – the meeting was successful, and Sinead was welcomed into the fold.

Sinead is a professional and reliable resource for a range of technical and creative fashion requirements and works for us one day a week as well as on a freelance basis.

She has over seven years’ industry experience, working across women’s, children’s and men’s clothing, and offers a variety of services and products from initial design concepts to sealed production patterns through us.

Sinead is fully trained on the Vetigraph CAD system, which is by far the best way to achieve quick, accurate results, and handily, the system we have installed in our office.

Antonio

As a company we try to keep our carbon foot-print as low as possible, so it made sense for Fazane to have a freelance man on the ground to quality check all of our production runs before shipment.

Antonio has over 30 years of experience in supplier sourcing, product development, price negotiation, production planning, quality controlling, in-line inspections, final AQL inspections, monitoring shipment logistics, and post shipment support.

Having worked with the likes of Nike, Fred Perry, Adidas and numerous other brand and suppliers, Antonio is a very important and valuable part of our team.
